Soul SearchingA Poem by cquigJust a poem
I feel heavy with burden and self My soul has been stowed away on a shelf The journey to discover it’s hiding place has yet to even start I hear so often, and often laugh when I’m told it begins in the heart My brain will lead me to the truth, because the truth is my heart is broken But if I’m left without my soul at least I will have spoken I’ll wander, wondering, just where I went so wrong But I refuse to make you suffer, well at least not for long 2009 © 2009 cquigReviews
