Remember Life?

Remember Life?

A Poem by Crispy

Remember life?

Remember that sweet tug of spontaneity at the sleeve of repetition?

Remember having no idea what's going to come, and being surprised every time?

Remember that magic that leaks out in vibrant colours of undefined notions that sparkle gooey observation?

Remember life?

Remember love at the sight of every human who might wander lost and found into our own meandering reality?

Remember eye sparkles and lip tugs dancing this mystery of crossing paths in the blind forest of elven trees?

Remember that moment, photo locked in fragrant sensations ripping a perfumed paint glob out of memory?

Remember purpose pouring thick from nothing?

Remember meaning squeezed out of pure imagination?

Remember defining for ourselves the laws and logicless notions that churn the inner workings of this gorgeous machine?

Remember life?

Remember knowing that it was about us, and not some formulaic pattern of fitting in?

Remember looking at a blue sky and a yellow sun and thinking, that's all I'll need today...

Remember living?

Remember deciding what it is that meant?

Remember life?

I get this sense it still remembers us...

i think it still can does remember us, and wishes we would grab it back...it has slipped away for sure...

especially for some of us from the sixties who wonder where all the flowers have gone.

i love the "gooey observations"---i remember when it was about "us' and not just fitting in...

i do.

this piece hits me in that spot.
