I Believe in Miracles

I Believe in Miracles

A Poem by Caleb Dull

I Believe in Miracles

Time,

Day by Day

Night after Night

through Tragedy and Heartbreak.

Life still goes on

it is an endless cycle.

but with every tragedy comes good.

The things I have Seen happen before my eyes

are only a phase.

I did not stop and want my life to end.

I know that there is obviously a greater being out there.

Somewhere calling,

It seems to know what is best for others

and in this event that has happened our family has been closer.

Look Around you it has brought us together.

This was a plan,

And if It is what God wants

he will do it.

Everything on Earth is a phase

only leading hearts to peace and care.

I have gone through hard times this month.

Bullying,

Tragedy.

           Yet I stay strong

because I know I’m not alone.

You may not understand

the ways of this event have brought the community together.

It has brought my sister home

I haven’t seen for three years.

It has brought me closer to understanding those who had bullied me before,

It has brought me closer to God

That One Friday I went to Church

And I prayed and prayed

I felt as if someone was watching me

from the moment I walked inside that church.

It was not creepy,

I knew that god wanted that

I feel as if it is a calling,

he is calling his children together again as one whole.

When I called my Friend

they had somehow already been at the hospital with a priest

That is a Miracle.

God does have a Plan

for everyone and everything.

I heard a calling on that day

saying what to do

It was the bravest thing I have done in my life.

Saving a life

I prayed for an hour or so

after the event and Then came the call

he was alive I was amazed.

All the Friends

that came to my house to support.

My Uncle is badly injured

and he was able to a lot of things

how could that not be a miracle

it is amazing

to see what god can do

even if it is in tragedy.
