Guardian Angel

I wrote this poem for my Brother who attempted suicide on February 19 He is Recovering Very slowly

Guardian Angel

The world is full of wonders,

it fills the mind with thoughts.

And with every wonder comes great things.

The tragedy of the world’s events are signs,

drawing oneself closer and closer to each other.

Day by day,

Night after night, we wait for a sign.

And, with every tragedy I stay strong,

even when I look at those emergency lights,

I stand tall, prepared to help those in need.

Showing that we must stick together.

Each event is God’s plan to bring us back together.

Families, once torn apart from differences

come together to comfort and care

as the world tries to make me weak,

I stand tall,

as I look toward the night sky.

The stars, being the Martyrs and the Saints

they lead me on my path,

through hardships, I dare not stop,

for it will only slow me down.

All the planet’s are my ancestors.

who have gone before me,

have had hardships as I have,

I use them as an example.

I follow their path.

During that tragedy,

even though I do not know what is happening.

I hear a voice,  

It guides me,

it takes over my actions.

leading me through, telling me what to do,

it’s my Guardian Angel.
