We must Save our people

      

Well it seems that I am A male 20yrs of age with No Health problems. I am uninsured. My country relies on private medical Insurance companies other wise known as HMO. We have signed our own death warrant some say if you compare our health system to other major countries we rank number 66 According to W.H.O. (world Health Origination). A baby born in El Salvador has a better chance of Surviving than a baby born in Detroit Michigan. The U.S. ranks among the Highest Infant mortally rate in the world. We live three times as less than most other countries in the world. The U.S has a system where God forbid if you lob off a your ring and middle finger it will cost you $60,000 for the middle and only 12,000 for the Ring, some people have to choose which one that they can afford if they do not have health insurance and if you do sometimes even then it is not covered.

 

      We are the wealthiest nation on the planet and we can’t even Care for our own people, but we can care for other people. I want to cry because my people are dying and some will never get the treatment that they need, I am crying because the country that I love is doing this to there own people, I cry because I am a nursing student going into a field where I swear to treat the sick and the dying. I am trained not to judge weather or not the person or persons have money or not. You should need no money to be treated you are a human and as a human. I believe that you have the Right to free Health care no matter what it is or who it is we treated Sadam Hussein Why cant we treat our own People.

 

The question of an insurance company or doctor or even at that a hospital should never be how much will this Cost us it should always be how can we help them what can I do with my training to help them and to see that they get better. It becomes a terrible truth when you hear that People who actually go to Cuba to get treated. And our Government calls them enemies.

 

       Remember this Dr. Charles Richard Drew Invented the life saving Technique of The separation Of blood From plasma, He was in a car accident and was denied treatment at the Hospital because he was African American The cause of Death was Sever Blood loss due to a sever laceration on his leg. Our country is still like that but the only thing difference is that we are not judge by weather we have white or black skin but, do we have insurance, do you have money, How will you Pay.
