Shipping Out

The fifth story in the saga of Andre Otherton

 As Andre Otherton was cleaning up a blue container in the robot factory where he worked, his friend John Christy came rushing in.

        "Andre," John yelled

        "What John, do you need help with your homework, again?"

        "Andre, we are being attacked by someone," John yelled at Andre.

        "What do you mean?" Andre asked.

        "Someone just blew up all the houses in the suburbs," John replied.

        "Is my family okay?" Andre asked.

        "Your father and brother made it out okay," John replied.

        "Do we know what planet the attacks are coming from?" Andre asked.

        "Nope," John replied. Andre walked pass John to a console. "What are you doing?"

        "Getting reinforcements," Andre replied. He typed in some codes and one of the robots in the lot of robots. The robot, which was code named "GEORGE" who was disguised as white male walked and stood in front of Andre. "George, take this gun and search and destroy any invaders," Andre said as he handed George a black gun.

        "Yes, sir" George replied and walked away.

        "John, get Robin on the phone and see if he can help us," Andre ordered as he walked outside the factory. He saw George walking towards a temple. As soon as George touched the doorknob the whole building blew up. Andre spotted out of the corner of his eye a blue man walking up to him with a sword in his hand. Four gunshots rang out as John shot the man. Before the man fell to the ground he flung his sword towards John's restaurant. Andre started to hear beeping and determined it's source was the sword. Before he could do anything the sword blew up, taking the restaurant with it.

        Andre and John went to the remains of the restaurant. They searched the rubble. John saw big black spider and screamed like a little girl. Andre looked over to John.

        "Sorry," John said. 

        A blue man appeared from out of the rubble. Andre looked at the man's right hand and saw a glowing blue ball. Andre heard coughing from behind him and turned around. He saw George standing there. The blue man blasted George away with the glowing orb into the market that was across the street. Andre charged at him and gave him a swift punch. John pulled out his gun and shot the blue man. As soon as the bullet hit the man he disappeared.

        There was an explosion down the street. Andre and John went rushing to see what it was. They saw that the library blew up and seven blue men running away from it. All the emotion in Andre went away except for rage which is different from his usual fun and outgoing personality.

        John fired a his last bullet and hit one of the blue men's head. As soon as it made contact the man's head popped like a water balloon and blue blood went everywhere. The rest of the blue men took out machine guns and aimed at Andre and John. George came walking out of a building and all of the blue men shot at him. After three rounds from each of the blue men were shot at George he fell to the ground like a bag of screws. 

        Andre saw that George dropped his gun. He quickly grabbed it and shot one of the blue men. The man he shot dropped stone cold dead.

        "Robert go after them," one of the blue men ordered. The only man that wasn't blue but was the color of a hunter, beige started charging at Andre. Andre heard something explode in the distance.

        "D****t, there goes the walls that protect us from the traitors," Andre thought. As soon as Robert, the blue man came close Andre punched him and knocked him onto his back.

        "Come on, Andre," John said. "Lets send these guys to Vell, where they belong,"

        One of the blue men charged and punched John to the ground. Before Andre could do anything he was punched to the ground. One of the blue men held out a big red button concealed in a glass box. He pressed the button. Andre heard a explosion and water rushing towards them.

        "They blew up the dam," Andre said. "They are going to flood the whole city,"

        "Oh, we have worst plans for this world," Robert said.

        "But why?" Andre asked.

        "Because its in our blood to destroy planets," Robert responded

        "Who are you?" Andre asked.

        Andre got up and punched Robert in the face. Robert's nose started bleeding. Robert than lifted his hand and made a fist. The bank that was on that street fell apart as soon as he made the fist.

        Another blue men walked up to Andre. Andre saw a knife sticking out of the man's pocket. Andre quickly grabbed the knife and slit the man's throat. Blue blood spurted out of his throat like a sprinkler.

        "We are having more trouble with these ones than those zombies we just dealt with," Robert said. "Better bring out the big guns." One of the blue men opened a suitcase and pulled a missile launcher. He fired it at the cathedral down the street. The cathedral blew to pieces. Something came swooping in and grabbed the blue man with the missile launcher and flings him to the other side of the city.

        "Robin," John yells. Andre groans.

        "Lets just skip to the good part," Robert says as all of the blue men run. Robin chases after them. They disappear before he could catch them.

        Suddenly there was a white light that knocked out Andre. When Andre woke up he saw John calling Robin's name and the robot, George looking through some rubble. He than notices everything around him has turned to rubble.

        "John," Andre yelled. John walks over to him and pulls him up.

         "Good, you're still alive," John said. "You can help me look,"

        After hours of looking through rubble and dead bodies Andre finally he saw Robin coming towards him.

        "Robin, did you see my dad or my brother?" Andre asked.

        "I didn't find your father," Robin replied. "But I'm sorry Andre, your brother is dead,"

        Before Andre could do anything John appeared by his side.

        "What were those things?" John asked.

        "I don't know," Andre replied, horrified.
