First draft of a idea, Poppy Silver wrote on so well,"There Are Those Who Pray For You"
Louder and Louder,
I am a white Sheep,
Blood washing laughter,
Daughter, Brother, Oh where art thou ?
No news, no carpet to sweep, Bombing the Carpet of Kings, No corner Jumping Jack,
Horner, GoPro , go Hide, go live, Black edition, be a HERO,
I am a white Sheep.
Spools holding mothers thread wrapped wound loom tight in my head.
I am, Step up, Light their hearts.
Oh Rodger, your song rings , round round pocket full of,
Waters,
"What God Wants, God Gets"
Me, I am,
Thank you Poppy, for giving Voice, "There Are Those Who Pray For You"
"I Am" equals Jesus.
Jesus used the same phrase “I AM” in seven declarations about Himself. In all seven, He combines I AM with tremendous metaphors which express His saving relationship toward the world. All appear in the book of John. They are I AM the Bread of Life (John 6:35, 41, 48, 51); I AM the Light of the World (John 8:12); I AM the Door of the Sheep (John 10:7, 9); I AM the Good Shepherd (John 10:11,14); I AM the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25); I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6); and I AM the True Vine (John 15: 1, 5).

I signed up for service. Had too much trouble finding steady pay anywhere else. For the fortnightly pay, regular as my bowels on any good day, I'd easily be the red sheep. you know, the one looking uncannily like a wolf? yeah. But when I sat the aptitude test and they told me I'd only make it as a chaplain, I laughed the milk out of my nostrils and they then failed me on the medical!
farcical b******s.

I never take requests. but this time I will look at your soul
To be pure like "the lamb"... It seems we are all born inside a ball of white, warm glow. When I really concentrate, or look at old photographs of me as a baby ––– even a child, I can almost feel it again. I think, if we had to give it a name I'd call it the place where pure unconditional love supersedes everything. We spend the rest of our life chasing that, only to be found in the love of our own children. Or, as your piece alludes to maybe finding that peace and love inside "God". Harder I think, much harder for some of us. I don't find that peace in myself anymore but when I look hard enough I find it in others, and sometimes. In my past.
Exploratory piece, Lee. That made me think
made me wonder.
"What God Wants, God Gets" - Roger Waters certainly does cover it from A to Z, and to be The White Sheep is to be a willing follower of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, He is the great I AM, the I AM of all that is - past, present, future, of what we hope for, of what we suffer, of what we are thankful for! He suffered all for us!!
Where are the peace makers, those who should stop the bombing the carpet of Kings - are they off hiding in the corner, pretending to be interested but too caught up with their own form of "exercise" to care about ours? Jumping Jacks are all the same, in fast repetition with a count but that's all they are - good exercise for the body. How about for the Soul?
Your line:
"Spools holding mothers thread wrapped wound loom tight in my head." especially speaks to me. We are all woven into motherhood and there is no getting away from it! We know who I AM is in most cases because of the tender love and teaching of our mothers.
A very gripping write full of the passion each of us should feel for our Savior!! May I ever be A White Sheep!!
