4-20

4-20

A Poem by lee von cleef

4-20,
the cupped ember glows, passes and glows again,
Simple hand to hand,
There is no weight until the words settle in the balance of
Inside,
The mind,
Then at night while I sleep a troll, a cell,
Something moves the rift,
Twang rah rah wang
I learned today, from one part of my brain to another,
Oh to sleep,
Like a kid who played on cowpucky hill,
Capture the flag till the fireflys took the night,
Then Kick the can
alleeee alleeee in come free !

the innocence of our youth ... would we could bottle it and take a bit when sleep won't come ... or any anxious riddled moment .. going to have to check Jacob's poem

This poem is like a release of the spirit into the wilds of nature. Nice job.
