I sense the fondly factual tone, and also appreciate the nostalgic, bereft sentiments to this poem, I hope you feel some comfort in knowing that we really all go through these phases from time to time and they certainly have made me personally, re-evaluate life's meanings and my humble place within it, nice write

The hollowness of loss just resonates from your words. A moment in time and everything changes. Those blows are hard to carry and they echo for a lifetime. This is really a haunting poem.

During our lifetime a lot of people make difference in our lives but only chosen few leave their print in our hearts. But when we lose that person, we can feel their print in our heart and soul more than ever... That is well written poem! You are very talented and always allow your heart to expression true emotions!

Like a flower seed n the desert it just waited for enough rain to bloom.
Oh my, what a sad way to realize the pain of another!! God bless you my friend with the comfort and understanding of our Blessed Mother Mary!!!
Weaver was take away, as was your precious daughter and then you knew the pain his father felt as searing as that of boot mark left on a chair - the rubber burned right into the wood, as grief and heartache is forever burned into your soul!!
We never know the pain of another until we walk a step in their shoes, or as in this case, their boots.
An amazing write!!!
A very talented and unique way of writing, all your own. Some people leave big marks on your heart, soul and memory. Others you have a hard time remembering,
Good morning,Thank you for stopping by. I like to write,I like to layer a story into a poem,I want to crack through to the reader, add emotion to life, theirs and mine. more..
