Peppers and Coffee

Peppers and Coffee

A Poem by lee von cleef
"

Cafe inspuration

"
The flex of the almost
Egyptian sounding muscle...
Squatting where the porcelain edge
Is so narrow,
The seat discarded just weeks after the opening,
First world franchise
In a third world country.
Problem ,
But a straight shot.
Espresso !

No spurs on this cowboy.... just draw a line with your boot, put your spread heals on it and squat. (First drop drawers and remove spurs, I have researched this)

S**t, one could probably read into these words forever
& arrive at a multitude of interpretations. Whatever...

Having read & re-read them over & over I find myself liking
these words of yours more & more.

Toilet humour can be good for you. 'Some come here to sit and think''...
Aah espresso, delightful stuff

Hmmm. Your stuff makes me think and that's why I enjoy reading it so much. And this poem like your others did just that.
The idea of a coffee shop in a third world country was sort of intriguing. They sell the same sort of stuff as here but in a totally different atmosphere. I guess some things are still the same no matter where you go.

Getting products cheap to make a bigger profit is the way of the American corporations. That is why we lose so many jobs to overseas.

Some drink for the pleasure, others out of necessity. A straight shot. Don't tinker with my life. Well played. Well said.

Yep, in some of the other countries, it is only the real brew that will do!! Try to introduce the iced drinks, the lattes, etc, etc, and they just won't fly! That place had little chance of survival before it even opened!
Eye opening.....give me a real cup of coffee....kind of writing!
