Every where I look

Every where I look

A Poem by lee von cleef
"

Sheila inspired,Waltz with death,"Sting of life"

"
No I will not
But will not, is not.
I shout "Life begets Life"
Conception, man ,even now science allows the Neanderthal
In me.
Life . Death empties the thing.
The shell vacant,
Do what you will with it but know it held Life,
Read the map it left you.
Write a new song,a ballad
Let it wrap around your ears ,
Tremble your lips,Lucifer eyes reflecting green,
Dipping three four, one two hand in the hollow.
He knew me too,the places we could go,
Our dreams have already shared the life time.
My child of the eighties,
Tender to you,now set her free.
Pick up the drums,
Play  Victory Stride watch her glide.
Golden Locks float ,
Her arms pull back load her innocence on the arrows notch
Christ like she is gone
And Lucifer is alone in his garden.
One two threefour.

James P Johnson, born February first, wrote Victory Stride, a hot song that will rock even today.
"No I will" to "but know it held life" I am told is very similar or "copied " I am curious from where? if any of you have seen it let me know. I did not copy it,I just started writing after reading the other poem and the words came out,I would love to know whose thoughts I was "channeling". See below maybe it will help.

I enjoyed reading this poem very much lee, for some reason, it took me back to the late 70's when I too set someone rather special - free & every now and again, it hurts no less than that last day of the Reading Rock Festival 1978 ... All Good Things, Neville

Poems, songs, paintings, sculpture, odd words, a special look .. so many nudges into the past, so many curled fingers beckoning a person into the past when hearts and minds were magically touched.. etched upon

You write superbly well. This post took me into an unfamiliar place, yet one i seemed to understand, merely by standing in the shadows looking on. Thank you.

Classic tangle with the dark side. Drew me right in. And you know what Lee, this sounds good read out loud, authoritative. Dripping, with truth
