Jam-Joy-JellyA Poem by lee von cleefMY mind reviewed me
The balance of thought,
Before I read is, Out side, A wind ,a gnat in the corner of my eye, A brier scratch blackberry jam sour ready to jar, Then I dive in off the bridge ,to water cold ,cool green, out of the bottom of the dam, Reflecting a low hanging cloud of rolling ,swirling turquoise ozone ,tornado air. Shocks of frozen cold ,jelly my thoughts.Numb thoughts, runaway,Flesh prevails, I shinny up the rocks to do it again, Before I read Emma this is all, Out side, Now you shift the weight, You place things in a mind, Your words pinch, crimp, add lead,to the lure and filament, sure to carry them deep, It is not just passion or Lust you are trying to catch, Soul,Spirit,Bone, Marrow, even life, You reach and hold palm up in your net. Now we carry you ,Tug ,fight, jump, spit. You give line, real back, throttle the boat around. And did you just measure and throw back? Or tag ? Tattoo ? Naw ,you took us home , Wrapped in foil, pepper, butter, lemon, salt,Grilled, Served with cheese ,Haut Brion' 95, Now we are inside you too. © 2012 lee von cleefAuthor's Note
