Pain

"I Don't Love You Anymore."

I'm numb.

No feelings are coming through.

I don't even feel the tears fall down my face.

He walks away...

No words of sympathy or remorse.

Is it even possible for WORDS to hurt?

That night..

As I lay thinking..

"Did I do something wrong?"

Worst of all...

"WAS THERE SOMEONE ELSE?"

In my dreams,

The words just keep popping up.

My chests constricts painfully,

As the words fully sink in.

More tears fall without my knowing.

I wonder...

"Why call it heartbreak when everything hurts?"

The most painful words :

"I DON"T LOVE YOU ANYMORE."
