I love the blend of supernatural killers with the classic slasher killers. Both categories of darkened fright are scary. It gives me the sense of how we are terrified of the dark because we are unsure of what lurks where the naked eye cannot see. I felt as though this poem acquired its own originality all on its own, indeed.
