Face

Face

A Poem by Count Humilus

Gentle snow,

settling in the air

Surreal words

She cuts the night sky

Thrones washed with blood

Synchronized heartbeats stop

Resentment implodes

My tears hit the ceiling

Love left alone to think,

leaves thoughts on justification’s  brink

Our bare legs untangled

Our voices are mangled

The ice eventually breaks

And us green stars eventually… sink
