A Poem by Count Humilus
"

the silence of me

"

Static sleep

Ceremonious  water

A record player thrown in a lake

 Thrashes,

being forced beneath the water

goods deeds being washed a float

gasps of lies

cheers of matter

tears of people who left better

fake lighting bugs

 a fragrance for lover’s revel

sweet flowers

mutual blood drips heavy in our wishing well

landmark feelings

a moments direction

lost in past lessons

sweating anxiety

nights lost  to rebellion

day’s mental puzzle

we found a crack in the sidewalk

tripped into our words

love is my heartbeat

downfall winds sweep…us up.

Thoughts of my tainted reflection

The tears erase my pen marks

The minutes with her keep tricking me to smile.
