Pinch me

Pinch me

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

"silence of me"

"

I am growing tired of these vines

Hidden with time

I shadow her from the sun

I am aware of the passing time

Content to loosen my grip

Pages of books flipping

Somewhere on my road I was beaten

Somewhere on my path I realized it was my only part in the mess of things

And that this path is the only path I am sure to follow

Through sunflower isles

Through thorns that poison the mind more then my own demons

I am floating in the sea

Filled with your tears of heartache

Laying on my back

Staring at my reflection the sky grants me

I feel the sun hit the right side of my face

The tar on my feet

I feel warm and content

I feel this when I close my eyes, and the city sun bouncing off buildings to grab that feeling

That moment just for a second

Just to know it existed

That I still exist

That she, next to me every night…exists

ohh how deep these thoughts ,still sad and lost..its how i feel
i never feel the time passing,i am losing all feel of it still satisfied
the book is being turned so hurriedly ,no one reading
and i hit the road ,i feel its thorns like i felt its warmth
i felt your tears too,but i lay crazy and lazy out in the sun
how happy i still feel i exist ,i even felt you beside me..we are alive
