![]() My lost loveA Poem by Count Humilus![]() Silence of me![]() Lives interwine with music playing in the backround to match their mood We slept in motels We slept in hotels We slept in bed and breakfasts We used our time so beautifully Each inconvenience of get away An excuse to sleep closer I think Kicking out the tucked in bed sheet Referencing your body for pleasure Leaving that frame face down Eventually in a box with some letters as well We slept close once Close like it would last forever Rubbing my feet to get sleepy Smiles and sighs of nostalgia But love, You walked out I gave you the benefit of the doubt twice prior Don’t you see my girl You’ve ruined it How can I be a man if I forget what you did How can I take you back If I don’t hold it over your head when you get out of your line And how can I hold anything over your head You’re my equal My bestfriend I loved you I saw what you would do if things got bad I let you go I let you go with my own words said to me! Ironic heartbreak At least there’s a twist enough to snap my mind Break that chipped heart right in two It’ll be a while this time Quite a while the snow lets me know © 2009 Count HumilusReviews
