Snow Globe

Snow Globe

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

 I break the spell

We break the glass that encompasses our snow globe world

I am in time for a fight

I am late for a smile

I am dramatically in love

I wish the best for her

I wish the rest for him

I am sleeping on the hardwood floor of our memories

I am curling my toes at your touch

I feel more then I should

I feel just as I should really feel

I am what I am said a great man

Love in water running past

Too fast to catch the diamonds in the current

We should never have let go of us

Each passing breeze blows the freckles from your face

Each overheard conversation drowns out your voice

Memory

Memory

Never wanting her to

Baby lets let go of the fire

Let it burn down the house to ashes

Crystal cleansing

Baby baby we are over indeed

Right?

"I am sleeping on the hardwood floor of our memories"
I really loved that metaphor.
It tells so much and shows how so many people have felt in only a few words.
Brilliant piece.
