Air BubblesA Poem by Count HumilusSilence of meI don’t know if I am regretful about anything anymore To hurt is natural As natural as to love Our souls and body may create no divide But without the duality of life every emotions sting and pleasure leaves us incomplete I choose selfish I choose a life for myself I see everyone’s faces as I drown Sinking into expectations oceans I am faced with my past My long lasting last images take my last breaths Kiss me she cries Look in my eyes I say Turning around from shadows The wind picked up A murder in the east A wedding in the west A death of hope in her fleeting departure Lost health Breaking spirits Feeling like I used to Limit me to myself I can’t go wrong I realize the correct choice to make And then I realize I have no more breaths Shallow independence deepens the darkness of this abyss © 2009 Count HumilusReviews
