Richeliue

Richeliue

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

A photograph of our shadows perfectly intwined

I’ll know the truth under Pont Marie

Breathless sleep

Taunting rooftops

The fall is what worries my ambition

I can’t stand that you impose your reflection in my eyes

I tear my thoughts apart before they fall apart

I never knew this would be it

I am feeling you in my soul

I am smelling the beauty drift through my window

I am listening to the dusk

Without recollection of my image

I sit on a bench across from myself

I can’t stand the sight

Tilt back so I can ease into my memory

My ashes scatter into the bath water

I inhale as it dissolves around my skin

Forehead against mine

Lost in your kisses

Press your heart against mine

Listening to sleep on my chest settles my soul

Watching your eyes while we make love

Deeps breaths

Content reality

A rarity you are

Yours from the start

Yours from who knows how long ago

Unique with magic in your soul

I have fallen in love with a girl

A beautiful girl.

“I love you”,

I am whispering at dawn

“I am yours always”, I’d tell you everyday of my life
