opened up another gin

opened up another gin

A Poem by brianna vega

he left me with a goodbye card
taped to the fridge
i stared right past it
opened up some more gin
ill drink your memory away today
its ok i never really let you in
a bite to the neck a hickey on your breast
razor sharp teeth yet i couldnt dig in
he left me with a goodbye card
something not even handwritten typed up like every single story
he made me listen to with taps
keyboards in the dead of night
inspiration only when hes high
i opened up some more gin
finally for once i win
