the stripppppp

A Story by brianna vega

Vegas was hot but it wasnt just the sun
it was the bodies pushing up against you
looking for a weekend love
something they could buy with a few colorful drinks
and white bed sheets theyd never have to see again
a bed they wouldnt remember
sensation sensation sensation screamed from the doorways of casinos
flooding out with the cold air of whirling fans and humming refridgerators
rae walked the streets watching the hope in the eyes
of jeweled women and hungry men
mothers fathers and grandfathers
gambling away
the machines suck in our dollars hungry for more
