A Poem by brianna vega

hope you had a great time
so shy you hardly could look at me
and i laugh so loud you turn bright red
but i think you remembered how to live
cause you kept trying to make me do it again
the food wasnt really that great
but we talked too much anyways
i had you spend the night
said it was too late to drive
and we were drunk anyways
laughing for no reason
your eyes shone like amber dreams
melted from its stone age
i dont remember a thing you said
but i know each word made me want you more
as i let you sleep on my bed
i stayed up all night
with your face on my mind on this broken lumpy couch
and i wondered why we never tried this before
