she felt trapped again
unable to open her mouth and just speak she couldnt find the words to explain the turmoil raging on inside of her racing to class racing home never stopping she would stay up all night waiting for smokes return his musky smell slightly sour tainted with a wiff of alcohol and weed he didnt wake her up at night well early morning actually though unknown to him she was lying silently still as a corpse watching through the sounds of his movements like a movie being played behind closed eyes she held her breath when he would finally lay to rest next to her. he didnt know she stayed up all night for him unable to sleep unable to read for long write properly concentrate the marrow from my bones has leaked out im hollow inside now i rattle when i walk my eyes are turning dark i walk with the body of an ancient and smoke doesnt notice hes in to his s**t again and im tired im chocking on words i want to say to scream stop stop stop your killing yourself love your killing me with every swig every smoke every pill every drug i die a little more © 2010 brianna vega |
