A Poem by brianna vega

I inhale
Burning fibers, tiny hairs and magic from my lungs
Chemicals sweep through my brain
Igniting childhood imaginations.
And I sit here
Watching the music swirling in the air
My eyes are closing
Driiping liquid pools of khol down a mountonous cheek
And my heart is beating alive on fire
But my minds so numb
Focusing unfocusing on one thought
The sores on my arms purple violet brusiess on my skin
Almost broken ribs
Cracking under flesh
And I sit here
Staring and the swirling silver fog
And from my lips
Waterfalls of words
Glittering intensly vibrant and wild
Theye bounce off the ground
Richocheting to anothers ear
And I sit here
Unaware of the walls
Rumbling from the power the force
Of the waves I created with my tears
Like drums like bombs
