the former magic is fading.

the former magic is fading.

A Poem by brianna vega

as these streets lose thier former gleam

and these harsh city lights start to burn my eyes

the magic is fading

as this city is degrading

the former magic is fading

and as im walking these lights are just too bright

exposing my vulnerbility

and the magic is seeping out of my pours

leaving my soul

shivering alone

the former magic is fading

and im screaming for it to come back home

for it to not leave me alone

this life is taking its toll.

Dire thoughts Brianna that can only touch the heart of your reader. You have PLACED your words gently on the page as opposed to throwing them and watching where they land.
You are precise and dilligent in your quest to get your point across...which you did beautiully.
Good work...
Cheers,
Helen.
