that night.

that night.

A Poem by brianna vega

we sat there in the sand

the wind was heavy with the conversation in our minds

and dreams that were kept secret

the beach water glittered back the reflections of our former selves

and i could hear my lost voice screaming and raging in the sound of the crashing water

my old songs were raging with passion in the wind

and you took my hand and danced

and our untold conversation was heavy in the air

everything was dark but i could feel the water there screaming with my lost voice

and you took my hand and we danced.
