Ride with me

Ride with me

A Poem by brianna vega
"

"
I listen to the leaves as if they were waves
I sit back look up
Relax
Take the tab and watch the colors unfold visions still fall but your unmatched
People's tell me lovers bring new truths
But I see none of that when I'm with you
As if all that is is all I knew
Some say it's unhealthy
It might be true
Buy I just wanna dive
Dive dive dive
With you

"Some say it's unhealthy", is one line which made me pause for thought. Possibly, this refers to the idea that falling in love spontaneously is unhealthy; or that it's unhealthy to allow love to cloud our awareness of "new truths"? Of course, only the writer knows for sure. As in other examples of her writing, she has said a great deal; without using many lines to do so. Overall, this poem seems to be about a perception of love. "Visions still fall but you're unmatched", could be referring to how even nature's autumnal vision of beauty; is no match when compared with those passionate feelings for her man.?
