A Poem by brianna vega

Why is it when im alone

Half naked hair wet

Music blaring to the corners of my room

Yet never escaping the walls

Sometimes slipping through the window sill

Exchanging courtesy's with the light it passes by

Then

Thoughts drown all else out

And I move

I think

Along with

Movement rhythm

Words flush my cheeks

Burn my ears and restart my heart

Music isn't life, but it sure as heck burns a sensation of "HECK YEAH!!!" in our spirit. It's pretty awesome. I agree and as always your poems are the best. My favorites! I love the imagery and the ending almost lets me recall the exact feeling I get from an amazing song after a shower. This poem is really refreshing in nice. Keep writing and I'll keep reading~!
