shark.

shark.

A Poem by brianna vega

i drift between the lines

of numbness and piercing reality

if only i could enter the waves of sound

and drift between the reality of our solid world again

ideas strike me as minimal

catches of the day

but its the shark im fishing for

in the ocean of thought

the poem which will tear me to shreds

the moment of intimacy

so utterly real

its blinding

Damn.... Aren't we All!? But I like this.
For some reason it comes off like conversation
and free thought chopped up and spliced for contemplation.
I also have a deep love for sharks... Pun intended!

im glad you like it. :]
might sound irreverent, but this poem is very good and metaphorical, and as I read it the theme music from JAWS was going through my mind
