String!

maybe our fate is controlled by greater beings/things, elusive unseen. maybe

Fixed! to my heart mind and soul,
puppeteer-ed by a living shadow,
Strings! 

From above and down below. 

mechanized bone and flesh,

like mannequins undressed,

exposed! 

through to the soul,

like candles in a storm. 

strings! are strung,  

by gods, by shadows.

Another lovely and clever poem. It does make you wonder if we have any free will. But of course we do, aren't those strings being pulled by part of ourselves ? With the gods and shadows, of course!
