sea of contemplation

 

Lines of mellow aqua

   broken by constant caps

      of clear sea green.

Brilliance lowers itself

   to heat its deep lover’s surface

      slowly, so slowly,

In some lapse of concern

   the lover finds its desire

       sinking, longing,

yearning….

for completion, wholeness,

   warmth of compassionate

      loving understanding…

As the sun burns the depths

   of your hidden emotions,

      churning, upsetting

The delicate fragility of separation,

   emboldened by this merging,

      discovers One

Warm deep sea golden

   washing salty tears flowing

into sighs.
