Surprise Effect

Surprise Effect

A Poem by cosmoblivion

Surprise Effect

Old man smiling
as he warms inside the boulders,
Sun gently burns
the surface of winter ocean colder.
Though wind pushes
and circulation presses on my face,
I let my mind go
to accept surrender’s grace.

Moments surprise me
with freedom and buoyancy,
I feel I have no right
to receive such sublime poignancy.
Yet I chose to come
here for joy, peace, relief;
And the unexpected gift
is simple release of my grief.

About
I laugh a lot with abandon. I am not afraid to cry but do not see it as effective a form of communication as well contemplated words spoken in unconditional love. I am very motivated in life & live ea.. more..
