you ooo and ahh all night

and swoon each rhyming

flight,

we laugh and shy and sneak

another sip of elixir

bright.

I curtsey and regale then

cry into the cup tonight,

it is all an act! please don’t lose

sight

that the Sound sketches

rounds of edges of mind’s

twilight.

Scratch that one and tear the paper

into shreds

because it is all never-ending and

soul cannot be bled.
