man in the street

man in the street

A Poem by cosmoblivion
"

i was in LA visiting a friend

"

man on the street

a whole life whizzing by

smells like exhaust fumes

and the dust that tirelessly rises

and falls

babe in the arms

of aching proud mother

smells like powder and roses

as his breath on her breast rises

and falls

strings under fingers

of tandem searching song

meets longing musician soul

and the dance of the melody rises

and falls

kisses between lovers

stolen in secret smiles

sending them laughing to bed

where the joy of their sound rises

and falls

leaves dry on the ground

grind slowly down

merging into composition of soils

life's Ferris wheel forever rising

and falling

Wow! I could not of expressed the nexus which the call LA better that what you have!

So many things going on, never stopping, endless motion, emotion and things that our senses embrace.

I have a friend who drives a semi truck and is always through that area. he's speaks of things like what you have done here.
Wonderful job at capturing the Essence of one of the Largest Urban areas in America!

I laugh a lot with abandon. I am not afraid to cry but do not see it as effective a form of communication as well contemplated words spoken in unconditional love. I am very motivated in life & live ea.. more..
