The Rain Stains the Brick Red

The Rain Stains the Brick Red

A Poem by CosminDZS
"

even a brick wall might manage to fall

"

I forgot my manners,
I left myself in tatters
when that bright brick
wall managed to fall.

The rain stains the brick
red
 not orange,
but red.
I forgot what he said,
when I bit my lip,
it bled.

On a bike,
from which I fell;
it rode away
and rang its bell.
Much lighter,
it seems
without me,
riding off
in my dreams.

You can’t keep a bike
tied up to a wall.
Even a brick wall
might manage to fall.

This sounds a lot like growing up...
Things do change...

Enjoyed it.
