Concrete Wonder

Concrete Wonder

A Poem by CosminDZS

Living in a concrete wonder;
street crime and all that's under.
In a world that reaches high,
carried there by the low.
Until the top floors
only contain empty doors.

Nobody lives here
anymore.
Look at me.
Look at my spire,
it reaches higher
than any can aspire.

What's a building
without any people
but an empty hull
of who
I used to
be.

A sad memory of it's dwellers..maybe they laughed there...maybe they cried there.
If they had spirit they would weep in loneliness..

Very nice thoughts here.
Enjoyed it
