helpless oil paint

helpless oil paint

A Poem by kian

it remains cream-colored.
the slightly tasseled canvas
with unhemmed ends
it remains empty.

repeated strokes
from the brushes,
regardless the swiftness
of my wrists in motion.

an image is formed,
only to exist in my mind
but not on the canvas
i wish to fulfill with fantasy.

how long do i have to keep it a dream?
i own a bucket of cream-colored paint.
