Dimming Stars

Dimming Stars

A Poem by Corky

Why is it so

that the darkness follows dawn?

And the only stars we see

Are the one's that don't belong

Oh how we are so wrong

Thinking light won't soon be gone

As we slowly dim the stars

who have led us for so long
