Calor

Calor

A Poem by Corinne M. Dinley
"

a personal piece about someone who is constantly on my mind.

"

Calor

When I saw you for the first time
I knew you were special.

It
is so nice to talk to you

hear your laugh
and let you teach me things

The way you tower over me

yet so gentle and kind.
The way you shake your head

while laughing at yet another weak joke.

I know it's not been long but know this.

If you feel the same way
I'd be happy to stay by your side
to learn, experience and grow together.

If not I won't be grieving

I will move on and from time to time look back

in admiration of how truly wonderful you are.
