Lost Dreams

Lost Dreams

A Poem by Julesy
"

One of my first poems, don't like it that much

"
Yearning for the unattainable
Wishing for the unrealistic
Will I ever get out of the dreams in my mind?
They took me on an unforgettable journey
Through the woods, mountains, and sand
Rolling up and down the spiral hills, on wheels
Cutting through the thick fog

Up, down, lateral bound
Or am I trapped in an enclosed cage?
Love lost in the blink of an emerald eye.
Dreams dead in the blink of a tear.
For they are never going to occur.
Ignoring reality and loving the dream
Loving the dream more than reality
Killing the brain slowly and swiftly
Forgetting logic and following the heart.
But the heart disappoints
The dreams turn to dust.
My love rolls away.
And reality rains in.

I don't like this piece of writing to much, I have much better writing than this. But I think its a good poem.
