Just Give Up.

I used to think all of this, and I still do. But I feel extremely guilty.

 

she knows i’m better.

just give up.

she says she hates it.

just give up.

she will never get anywhere with it.

just give up.

she sees people look up to me, not her.

just give up.

do you really think people want you ?

work hard

persevere.

This is a really good poem. Are you a beatnik? Just kidding. I think you would hear this read in a coffee house. That is a compliment. You speak openly of your human emotions. That is one thing that makes this a good writing. What is stupid about it? Not one thing. It really shows you have a brain and can rationalize a situation within yourself. Keep up the good work. I like how you typed the whole thing in small letters, it is like the little voice in your head doing the talking.

I thought it was a good read. The ugly face of envy. People often try and bring us down to their measure when they know we are better than them in certain aspects of life. That is where confidence comes in to play. I enjoyed reading this. Good job.
