There's Always A Price To Pay

There's Always A Price To Pay

A Poem by Coolcrests
"

A short poem reflecting on the fact that money is no guarantee for happiness.

"
There's always a price to pay
Wed to a spouse with wealth and money
You'd think they would be happy
Yet they are not, funny
Seems like submissive nuptial subservience
To a hubristic arrogant spouse
Perhaps their nature is too filled with greed
Married to each other, of the same breed
Who am I to judge
I guess that's okay
A word of caution, remember
There's always a price to pay
