What Others Will Think

By: Steven M. Krystal

What others will think

At the funeral we mourn

They think of our loss undoubtedly

What is lost is perceived differently

Indeed we have lost our humanity, if

Loss easily consoled by fortune by gain

What others will think

Is wealth anew remedy for pain

What others will think, life after parents

Inherit, will they quarrel or share it

Are they numb to the pain, comforted by gain

Do they care for each other, sister and brother

Our loss can be measured

Each has their own way

Is it memories of laughter

Is it inheritance thereafter

Say boldly and proudly inheritance is bliss

Yet inheritance differs, do not be amiss

Your caress your kiss, I consider as riches

With greed be not driven like some sons of b*****s

A heart grieving with suffer or inheritance that imposter

Depends what’s important to you

Your precious soul our pleasure, your watchful spirit our treasure

The afore, hopefully, is what others will think.
