Conflicting Thoughts of Restriction

Conflicting Thoughts of Restriction

A Poem by Austin
"

My arms are weaker than they've been in a long time, and I have to have help with things that have always been easy before. Just opening doors or typing hurts.

"
You're held back.
You're trapped.
You're stuck.
You're helpless.
You're incapable.

But,
at the same time,
in your mind.

You're free.
You're capable.
You're fine.
You're happy.
You're capable.

You're body can be restricted,
but your mind cannot be.
