Wake-Up Slap and Accompianing Hope

Wake-Up Slap and Accompianing Hope

A Poem by Austin

Nightmares haunted me.
They invaded my daydream.
But after receiving a wake-up slap
I've been touched by a sunbeam.

A new hope has woken up
and spread out from within.
And to think, I had thought
such silly things back then.
