The Rose Without the Thorn

The Rose Without the Thorn

A Poem by Austin

You've been put through the ringer,

you've suffered but you've help up alright.

Your back, your knees, your shoulder,

provide you ailments to fight.

And I've been sick a long time,

sick from stress so late at night.

But now Mr. Sleepless

thinks he's gonna turn out alright.

Because when two lonely souls get together,

A positive feeling is born.

And the vitalization is mutual,

It's a rose without a thorn.
