It doesn't sting.

It doesn't hurt.

Only one thing hurts, and that is the feeling of inhumanity that haunts me.

I thought that you

would be the one

that would take away that feeling, remind me I'm human.

But you're just like

all of the others.

Playing your own game in your own world.

And to see the truth:

I mean nothing to you.

Reminds me of every other time.

This isn't the first

Or even the last.

Just the most recent.
