Calling Out to Broken Hearts

Calling Out to Broken Hearts

A Poem by Austin

I'm calling out to broken hearts

whose feelings have been ripped apart.

I know it hurts, I know it's rough,

and I know that you just have to be tough.

Don't be afraid to lay down and cry,

as in the situation so would I.

Remember you've got folks who care

and would really want to make things fair.

You work and work to help your friends

and then your happiness seems to end,

but does it? Well that depends...

You'll have to get past it, it's hard I know,

and don't listen to the "I told you so"'s.

From your slump pull yourself up,

and don't dwell on the depressing stuff.

Young love strikes again,

but here to help you are your friends.

They are always out there.
